Intelligent automation use cases

In this blog we will detail some of the use cases of AI linked together to the Hight.io platform offerings.
As described in our 2nd blog AI can add value to Data Entry and Processing. This is the area where our platform solution can make your life easier. Below are some examples:

  • AP automation
The whole AP automation can be supported by AI, replacing traditional (and outdated) invoice scanning technology with advanced AI technology. This significantly reduce the manual intervention needed because the higher efficiency and better quality of the AI models compared to the scanning engines. Our Reducr platform can tackle this easily. Our Reducr platform can replace the whole AP process but can also easily be used as an AI engine replacing the scanning technology of your current AP solution and seamless integrate in your current AP tools and processes.
  • Data Entry made easy
Replacing the complex UI from ERP systems with a chat type interface in a browser, mobile app or even better just Microsoft Teams will reduce entry errors and improve efficiency and the learning curve of new employees. If you can replace a 10 step order entry flow with a simplified chat interface in Teams you will for sure create the Wow experience for your ERP users. Our OrchestratorBot platform is designed to support these processes.
  • Data processing
Using process orchestrations combined with the above Data Entry will further optimize your ERP experience. Furthermore if you can add the vast amount of historical data in your ERP to be used as reference data you can use AI to train validations on entry exceptions which will reduce the amount of wrong data entry errors.
  • Using NLP
Using NLP for data entry through a chat type of interface. A chatbot can easily be created to assist in data entry or looking for data in your ERP. Simple questions in chat (or voice) like: “Please approve invoice 23001” will result in a response: “I have approved invoice 23001 do you want me to add a note?” and you can add a note by typing: ”yes, please add: approved”. Or when looking for data in your ERP, you could easily ask: “give me all overdue invoices for company ACME and list them in a table form with invoice number, invoide date, amount and days overdue” and the system will give this back in a table format as easy as that.

The three examples above are just few of the many use cases which are there for AI and ERP. We’re creating our first integrations with OpenAI to implement such solutions, not to support the hype but to show real use cases which we can implement in weeks not years.
